Born in Russia in 1972, Michael has chosen Montréal as his home since 2011. Teaching art in the SynStudio, prestigious art school in Montreal, where he teaches more than five author's courses. As well as private lessons in his own studio and a lot of masterclasses around the world.

This workshop will focus on how to paint luminous watercolors by manipulating tonal values, color, & edges. We'll learn how to add mood & emotion using light & shadows. We'll learn proper perspective as well. Michael will show us how to use his various personal brushes. We'll have several demonstrations each day, as well as personal painting time.

He works on top of watercolors with brush pens which adds depth & tonal value to the image. We'll be painting & drawing both en plein air & in the studio . We'll work on location & from photos from our local area & from photos from New York City.

Frank Eber's paintings are phenomenal. He's influenced by the Old World Masters. His style is direct and loose. His ability to paint all subjects is outstanding, whether it's portraits, landscapes, or cityscapes, his paintings are exceptional.He encourages individual expression and encourages the balance of forces in watercolors that create beauty in painting.
